DMW Direct Announces Formal Recognition of Agency Service Levels
with Completion of Service Organization Control (SOC) Audit

PHILADELPHIA, November 29, 2012 – DMW Direct, a leading direct response advertising agency recently successfully completed the SOC 2 audit for controls at a service organization. These reports are intended to meet the needs of a broad range of users that need assurance about the controls at a service organization that affect the security, availability, and processing integrity of the systems the service organization uses to process users’ data.

This is an unusual initiative for an advertising agency, stereotyped as being more concerned with winning awards.  DMW Direct, however, serves a national client base with a large number of health insurance and healthcare-related clients, who see data security and privacy issues as a critical priority for their trusted service partners. SOC Reports are designed to help service organizations, organizations that operate information systems and provide information system services to other entities, build trust and confidence in their service delivery processes and controls through a report by an independent Certified Public Accountant.

The SSAE 16 SOC 2 Type 1 audit is established by the nationally recognized Auditing Standards Board (ASB) and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). The examination includes a report on management’s description of DMW Direct’s Client Membership Data Processing System and the suitability of the design of the associated controls.
