Network Health is a proud “home-grown” health plan located just outside Green Bay, where the legendary Packers play. Competition is welcome around these parts. But when this 13-county plan decided to take on some much larger competitors with bigger reach and deeper pockets, they needed a new game plan. DMW joined the team.
Network needed smart, dollar-wise and strategic direct marketing to spur unprecedented growth. To develop that, DMW took a deep dive into the organization, uncovering unique services that members valued, but were not highlighted in current marketing efforts. One example was the plan’s strong 96% retention rate. Another was Network’s “Concierge” service, offering members one-on-one help in getting the care they need. Still another unique selling point was that the plan was headed, not by an MBA Marketing Officer, but by a registered nurse. DMW capitalized on this very human aspect to create a strong differentiator. We hit the market with a strong AEP program out of the box and a first generation website, followed by a year-round New To Medicare program. We then introduced DRTV into the mix, along with digital strategies and tactics. We continuously tested and refined all elements, including a stronger website. Soon the small hometown plan became the market leader across its footprint.
Simply put, astounding. While working with DMW, Network grew from 2,000 members to over 56,000, with impressive and sustained year-to-year growth. Network Health has grown from the area’s small local plan to the largest Medicare provider in the region. We’re proud to have helped another winner come out of Green Bay.
